How it works
TrekBali is a marketplace website for tour, guide, and other services such as vehicle rental and photography buy/sell. We are not a travel services company but we do accommodate and connect travel services to our users when they try to find one at our website. There are 6 main steps to order through our website, outlined as below.
1. Browse our website
Our users can view and browse services or information through our website without the need to register to be a member.
2. Register to become a member
When our users see a travel service that they like and want to book the service, they need to register to become a member. Registration is free and secure. We do not ask for more information that is needed to allow our seller to know more about the user.
3. Order a service
Once our users have become a member, they will receive an email notification for their registration information. They can then start placing the order for the services they like.
4. Confirmation from the seller
The seller of the service will get notification that their posting has been ordered. They will then have 3 days to acknowledge the order. Once they confirm that they are able to commit to the order, an email notification will be sent to the users (buyer).
5. Payment
The users will then be asked to follow the instruction to proceed to payment. The payment platform and website is routed to Paypal. Paypal has a secure payment system that ensures our users' information is kept confidential. Once the payment is made, an email notification will be sent to the users, to acknowledge payment.
6. Email from the seller
The seller will then email the users to introduce themselves and send them confirmation on the order. They will also email information about the order and make necessary arrangements, such as meeting place and time for the travel.
